I have a new SE IC to replace my old one and want to keep the coils separate, as well as keep them from moving around. Perhaps with SS picture wire.

Do any of you have any suggestions or tips on how best to do this? Any pics would be especially appreciated.

Not sure what I can use as a spacer other than twisted wire.

What about thicker copper wire? Check the JaDeD site, they have a lot of photos.

I was thinking copper wire like JaDeD uses, too.  You can always buy electrical wire and just use the ground.

Good suggestions. The reason I am shying away from the copper wire is that the chiller is SS and in wort galvanic corrosion could be an issue.

I will check the JaDeD site for wrappeing technique. Thanks for that lead.

Ahh, didn't see the stainless part. I'd use stainless then for sure.

Chino, fwiw, my stainless chiller is very 'stiff', doesn't want to flex or move very much. I ended up using a couple of worm clamps to keep it in place once I got the spacing/separation I wanted. It's holding strong, better than copper chiller would I think. Put a couple of clamps above the coils on the feed/discharge vertical portions and see how it holds.
