As you may have noticed, I've implemented a few changes that have made a big difference on mobile.  I won't pretend that it's perfect yet, but it's far better than it was.

I'm considering killing the sidebar altogether on mobile.  What are your thoughts on this?

The dropdowns now work without killing the site, but since they rely on mouse events to fold back up, they just stay open.  I'm thinking of maybe adding an up arrow or the like to the bottom of them to allow the dropdown to be closed with a tap/click.  Yay/nay/don't care?

What other feedback/suggestions do you have for making the site mobile friendly?

I really don't see how the menu system here is going to work for mobile.  If you get all the links within a window, they'll be too small to easily select.  I don't know what the correct answer is.  I use mmenu (mmenu.frebsite.nl/)on my site to utilize a roll out menu system, but that would require a massive redesign on your part.

Also - the "add link" button in your editor doesn't work.

I agree, the rollout menu probably has to just go away in mobile.  We'll see.

he button doesn't work in mobile?  Doesn't work, period?  What browser/OS?

Win 8.1 & Chrome 39.0.2171.95

This is what I get when I try to add a link using the add link button (google for example) ... javascript:nicTemp();

Edit - The link actually works if you click it, the title doesn't.

That's odd.  Niceditor is a pretty mature little item.  Here's a happy link.

Yep, the title attribute works, too.

javascript:nicTemp();

Open in current window and open in new window net me the same results.  I dunno man.  If I rollover that js function, I see the title popup.  I don't get why it displays the call instead of the title though.

I have updated a bit - the site should no longer be crazily zoomed in on mobile.

Next up is to kill the sidebar entirely for mobile, and to adjust font sizes.  Probably re-do the top menu, as well.
