Yeah, that's a better technical resource, but not practical instructions for the home brewer.

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I was camping that weekend and was planning to catch up later and finally got around to it.

You ever read the warnings on the package? I felt like I might could have used a hazmat suit. Eye protection and some gloves had to suffice. Crushed about a quarter of a tablet and put it in about a half vial (20 cc) of slurry for 15 minutes. I just wanted to try this on a starter before I committed to doing it for an entire yeast line.

Haha, yeah, I suppose in the wrong setting it can produce really toxic gas. AFAIK, that shouldn't happen in beer though.

Looking forward to hearing how it turns out.
