I went ahead and posted this out to reddit as a heads up - folks, less than five days into the registration process, we are halfway there to the entry cap for the competition!

If this keeps up, I may have to chat with the judges to see if there is any possibility for us to add capacity, as I would hate to turn away brewers if we just don't absolutely have to do so.

OK, I am doing Am Amber... but I'd like to enter another beer... Am just going to brew (2) 11-gallon batches. Test batches be damned. It won't be undrinkable, and that way I can still make XBMT about them.

I don't want to see any foreign substance this series!
I need to steep that malt I roasted and see if it's worth using. See what I might be able to make. I should probably stick to hoppy as that is more my specialty, but I don't like Centennial, or any of those hops for that matter. Should have allowed one of the newer hops, even if it was an experimental hop that was a little harder to source.Posted 34 days ago.
