I know none of us are typing our bank account info or anything in here, but SSL/TLS support (HTTPS protocol) is now a pretty accepted practice for any site with a login form.

Are there any plans to add support? StartSSL provides free Class 1 certificates that pretty much all browsers will accept. There may be others, too; that's just the service I've used for my personal webservers.

Yes, I will be adding SSL.  Thanks.

Awesome!

When you do, I've found The Qualys SSL Server Test to be a really useful tool to check if I set everything up right.

Hopefully in the next few months, Let's Encrypt will be available, as an alternative to StartSSL.

Just as a followup - I have installed a cert using StartSSL.  I'm fixing some "mixed mode" issues (i.e. absolute links of images and such), then we'll be fully SSL compliant.

Thanks for the prodding!

This is totally done, now.  If you see any odd issues, security warning, etc - please let me know.  Thanks!
